WA Womens Hall of Fame
The WA Women’s Hall of Fame was first established in 2011 in recognition of the Centenary of International Women’s Day held annually on 8th March. One hundred women were inducted at the centenary, across a range of sectors and celebrating a diverse set of achievements.
Its purpose is to recognise and celebrate the achievements of Western Australian women past, present and future.
Our Principal Mrs Lee Musumeci was one of the succesful nominees of 2019 and was inducted in to the WA Hall of Fame for her vision in developing the Challis Parenting and Early Learning Centre. The Government took up this model and created 16 Child and Parent Centres on school sites throughout WA. Lee was also recognised for bringing to Challis evidence based approaches that resulted in students achieving equivalent to, or better than, State Average.
Congratulations Mrs Musumeci, We are very proud of you.
