PBS Update

What an impressive performance from Challis students in Term 2! It has been inspiring to see students across all year levels and factions steadily earning RISE tokens for demonstrating a range of positive behaviours. So far, our fortnightly focusses have been respecting others right to learn, keeping our hands and feet to ourselves and ensuring our actions have a positive effect on others.

Not only did each faction earn enough points for the Crazy Hair Day reward in week 5, they’ve kept up their efforts, and can now look forward to their final reward for the semester – Family Faction Fun Day!

On the last day of term, July 4th, each faction, and their families, are invited to participate in a range of fun activities throughout the afternoon. We’ll be sharing more details with you in the coming weeks, in the meantime, save the date!

For those new to Challis, our PBS program aims to support students to make positive behaviour choices outlined by our R.I.S.E expectations of Respect, responsIbility, Safety and Excellence. Each fortnight, we focus on a different element of our Behaviour Matrix and reward students with faction tokens when they demonstrate these behaviours. The factions accumulate points to meet particular targets and earn rewards at various milestones throughout the year.
