Meeting Points:
Join the Fun and Help Lead the Way
This November, our school is trying out an exciting, friendly competition to encourage more students to walk or ride to school safely.
Four CAT routes will operate over four Fridays in November (see map below).
Each route will compete to see which can gather the most students—who will win the challenge?
However, this won’t happen without parent volunteers.
Whether you sign up for just one day or more, your involvement is crucial for the success of the CAT routes.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION
What is a Challis Active Train (CAT) Route?
CAT routes are a fun and safe way for students to walk, ride, or scoot to school. The CAT routes will operate for four Fridays in November, with each route guided by parent volunteers.
Do I need to volunteer for all four Fridays?
No, you can volunteer for just one Friday morning, or as many as you’d like. Even one day of help makes a big difference!
Will I be supervising just my child?
No, you’ll be leading a group of children from the designated starting park to school.
Is this a permanent program?
No, this is a pilot program running for four Fridays in November to see how it goes. We’ll review the success of the trial after the four dates, and if all goes well, it could become a regular event in the future! We will seek parent feedback throughout the process.
