A Fun, Active Way to Help Kids Walk or Ride to School.
Volunteers are needed Friday mornings from 7:50 to approximately 8:30.
Last year we launched the Challis Active Train (CAT) Routes—a fun and simple way for students to walk or ride to school. We have reviewed the effectiveness of the CAT and this year and will cut it down from 4 routes to 2. One will leave from Bob Blackburn Reserve and the other from Morgan Park. We already have a group of core volunteers who will help run the CAT again this year, but we are looking for more volunteers to help keep our kids safe while they get to school.
Volunteers would need to be available Friday mornings from 7:50 to approximately 8:30. You will meet students at one of the two locations and at 8:00am, help them to walk, ride and scoot safely to school. We would love to have you onboard as often as you are able to help, whether that’s weekly or once a term.
If you can help, please respond to this message through your child’s teacher or the front office and Mr Gibson will get in contact with you.
Thank you for your support of this amazing initiative.
